I usually don't take many pictures of modern cities and Kuta would certainly be classified as modern with all the ammenities.
However, this statue in the middle of a traffic circle really caught my eye. A 60 feet high statute of a Hindu deity in a death grip with a serpant. I am amazed at the inspired creativness of any building or even this intersection.
And American drivers should be warned that in Bali they do drive on the left (wrong) side of the road. But then you can always hire a driver, as Amy and I did for about $35/day. He came with car and gas.
