View from the North Side of Tumon Bay. These hotels are first class, built with Japanese cash. Guam attracts over one million tourists a year with the majority coming from Japan. Although, the current financial problems in Asia has caused a major downturn in tourism. The Tumon Bay area has major tourist spots like the largest Hard Rock Cafe in the world, Planet Hollywood, DFS Mall, TGI Friday's, and the largest Kmart in the world. It also has a large number of shooting ranges, as Japanese will fly to America so they can shoot a real gun. There are also numerous golf courses on the island, as it is cheaper for the Japanese to fly to Guam to play a round of golf then to play golf in Japan.
