My friends Menie and Danny head back to Manila for the last week, but I decide to stay in Cebu. I like Cebu and don't want to go back to the polluted air of Manila.
Tweety stops by the hotel next day and tells me she is going to visit her father's village of Tabogon and invites me to come along. I pack my backpack and set out on an adventure to see a province village. We take a 2 1/2 hour jeepney ride north for 50 cents each. Then rent a motorcycle and driver for another half hour ride up mountain roads. I thought our motorcycle was crowded with the three of us and my backpack on it, until we pass a motorcycle with five people on it.
